Sking in the Rocky Mountains

Skiing in the Rocky Mountains! The original wilderness of the national parks and the bustling, modern town of Banff is no contradiction here. Take the daytime in the large ski resorts Lake Louise, Sunshine Village and Ski Mt.Norquay, make a nice Einkausbummel the afternoon and at night you can enjoy the many restaurants and entertainment from Banff. Our hotels are all centrally located – the ski bus stops in front of the door. Decide each morning afresh, where the boards or snowboard want to swing.

We have a choice between three ski areas:

Lake Louise is located about 35 minutes by car from Banff and offers more than 100 departures all levels of difficulty. Bowls, tree runs and lots of rapid and comfortable slopes. Take in the footsteps of Katja Seizinger who has won here twice.

Approx. 25 minutes from Banff away at 2000m high above Sunshine Village. A gondola carries up to the “snow hole”, with over 10m annual snowfall until the end of May remains open. Three mountain flanks offer varied skiing up to 2730m, focusing on “Goats Eye”, the expert is required.

To “field house” of Banff, the Mt.Norquay there are only 15 minutes by car. He is the favorite mountain of locals and lends itself with its 4 chairlifts and the runway manageable range ideal for running. Here was the first chairlift in 1948 in already operational.

“Ski the Rockies” is an offer in which you will lack nothing – slopes, après-ski and nightlife are top class and yet without any hassle.
